As a novice runner I felt a little uneducated and nervous walking in. I was hoping for more of a consultative service, question asking, and getting a better understanding of what works for me and what I came in for. The woman was polite but was not very helpful and showed me 3 pairs of shoes. When I asked if there are any other shoes she thinks I should at she said “I could show you shoes for days” which I understand but I felt a bit waved off and it didn’t seem like there was much of an investment in trying to help me. I tried to ask a couple more questions on things I should think about and she didn’t seem to care to answer aside from “as long as you like them”.nnOverall it was a poor experience and I don’t plan to go back as I felt discouraged from even asking questions about the product.

The staff are so helpful here! They are welcoming to people of all fitness levels, so don't be intimidated if you don't think of yourself as an athlete. Their clothing seems to be pretty carefully curated - everything was really nice and there were a variety of brands represented. They recently had a summer sale where most of their apparel was 40% - I definitely will be following them on instagram to see when they have more things go on sale. There were so many steals! For shoes, someone can analyze your gait and help pick the perfect pair for you. Plus, you have 30 days to return it for store credit, so you don't need to be anxious about making the wrong decision. You can also order online and return in-store, too, which is convenient.

This location was easy to find and there were plenty of street parking. Beautiful store with great selection. I’m new to running so I needed all the help I could get. The manager, Julia, went above and beyond to get me the shoes that are just right for me. She was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Thank you!nOverall great products and customer service. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Lucy, Lucy, Lucy!! I have difficult feet to fit, and after three try-outs, Marathon Sports got me the perfect pair! Lucy expertly, and patiently, took me through 3 different brands over a span of 3wks; her level of knowledge and service is unparalleled...and greatly appreciated!
