Founders Speakeasy

Really nice speakeasy. Hidden underneath a liquor store, you'll need to have the password emailed to you. Once you give the store employee the password and ID, he'll lead you to the door downstairs. It's fairly small, but themed nicely. They only had a single bartender when I was there so it'll be difficult to get service if it gets busy.

Fun Speakeasy in the basement of a liquor store. Original cocktails and fresh ingredients.....nice atmosphere. Good place to have a drink or two before or after dinner...going out.

In the winter, dress a little warmer because the atmosphere can be a bit chilly but as a guy who loves layering, I can’t knock it for the temp. The drinks were top notch, the old fashioned was stiff and not made with granulated sugar (a big faux pas). The service was fast and the music is clear and not too loud. Dark, not too crowded and 5 stars. Password can be found on their website.

One of the coolest speakeasies we've been to. You have to try the specialty drinks. The Batata Old Fashion and Green Chile Margarita were amazing! Will definitely be going back.

One of my favorite places to drink in Albuquerque. Cocktails here aren't like anywhere else and the ambiance is unmatched! Fantastic service, too.
