The Historic Rapids Lodge and Restaurant

We were just exploring one day in Grand Lake, and wanted to get dinner. Thought we would give this place a call since they were the only ones listed with dine in seating right now. What a magical surprise! This place is a true gem. The fillet was out of this world, the other dishes were fantastic, but the most praiseworthy was the service. It was so amazing that we wound up booking a room for the night at the same place because we were taking such great care of.

Great experience! Lovely jazzy music! My husband and I went to the rapids restaurant tonight. I had the shrimp raviolis and my husband had the lamb. All of the food was delicious and the quality was great. The waiter was really nice and he was very accommodating to our requests! Highly recommended :)

Great service and great food! We love to sit on the river and eat lunch during the summer. One of our favorite spots for anniversaries and birthdays.

Neat old hotel

The cabin we rented was beautifully decorated and comfortable. It was so very quiet there. We only heard voices once, at a reasonable hour. Slept with the windows open all night and heard no other sounds. Extremely quiet there, at least in September. The check-in and check-out procedures were smooth and the staff/management are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!
