The Peak

We are locals and have been here several times. Most of the time, it’s pretty status quo and at least you know what you’re getting. We went for lunch last week and it was a disaster. The worst experience we’ve ever had. It took 15 minutes for a host to seat us with no line and empty tables. We ordered a beer and iced tea. The iced tea never came, but it was a charge on our bill. My husband ordered a pizza that came out with random ingredients not on the menu. I ordered a burger medium well and it was on the crisp side of well done. Our server never one time checked in to see how we were doing. We really want to support local businesses, but it’s hard when these experiences happen more often that not.

Food and service both great. Staying the weekend in WP by myself and came to The Peak both nights to eat, drink, and watch some March Madness. All the staff I interacted with the first night recognized me the second night and were nothing but fun and friendly. Elliot and Stephanie behind the bar were great.

We had to wait for service for a bit but considering it was Sunday NFL playoffs and there was only 1 bartender taking care of the bar area it was understandable. Michelle was great and the food was really really delicious! Our party had fired pickles, pepperoni pizza, fish and chips and Nashville hot chicken sandwich and everything was so good! Great atmosphere for football and great craft beers!!

We had such an excellent experience at the restaurant. We met Sam, the owner, and he was so attentive. The small business man is getting screwed by these COVID restrictions, so I make it a point to frequent the Mom and Pop businesses. The beer and food was excellent. I highly recommend!!!

Freshly made oven pizza. Service is fast and beer is good. They have a lot of local beer options so if you want to try something new, not too many domestic. The jalapeno fritters were delicious! Must try!
