Buckel Family Wine

Our group had an EXCELLENT time at Buckel winery. The wine was delicious, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend stopping by and trying their selection of wines. The wines featured interesting selections of fruity wines- perfect for casual drinking- and meaty red wines- perfect for dinner pairings. The robust flavors feature interesting flavors, like bell pepper, that create a unique tasting experience. At the time we stopped by, art by John fellows was displayed for purchase. This winery, tucked just off highway 135 on the way to Crested Butte, is an unexpected treat. Joe and his wife Shamai are very friendly and happy to share the pride they have in their wines with you.nThey make several varietals that you will have seen before, and some that it will be your first impression,. the Cinsault is my favorite. Stop by and enjoy.

This is a hidden gem in Gunnison! Joe is very knowledgeable and an excellent host! The wine will surprise you, so make sure you stop in for a flight!
