Sherpa Cafe

On our way through town we decided on Indian food for dinner and it was DELICIOUS! The Sherpa Sampler was perfect for our dinner and Tibet noodles were just as good! This will be a MUST every time we drive through Gunnison! Absolutely delicious.

I was just in Gunnison for one night for a work layover and visited the Sherpa Cafe. The food was amazing! It was some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Very authentic. I had the chicken tikka masala and the lentil soup. Both were extremely flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by here while your in Gunnison.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, serving authentic Nepali food. They try to acknowledge every request to make your dining experience memorable with a happy face. Highly recommended.

Okay WOW WOW WOW I'm so jealous we don't have Indian/Nepalese food in my mountain town in CA, this place was fantastic. We had the chicken makhani and chicken tikka masala and both were great. Ask for the hot sauce, the waiter brought us some and it was amazing. The garlic cheese naan is also amazing. Such a cozy little spot, great ambiance, great service/friendly staff. Really a gem. Can't wait to get back to Gunnison to go to Sherpa's again.
