Butte 66

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating! We almost didn't try it because of that. Glad we did. Perfect place to grab a quick bite and a beer with a beautiful view of the mountain. Great outdoor space to easily space from other people. Staff was friendly, helpful, and great at cleaning up. Compared to other resort-owned cafes like this in other towns, I thought this was a good place to go.

In my humble opinion, I thought that Butte 66 was better than I was expecting. Nobody likes being hounded while they are standing in line about protocol. They said it, to keep separate from people who are not in your group, and stand on the button.nnNo cash accepted. Not visibly posted.nnWhy 5 stars? The grilled chicken sandwich. Savory chicken that wasn’t over cooked still moist, quality cheese slice, and fluffy fries.nnThe service really was exemplary because once you’re seated they bring you your order, in front of this amazingly beautiful view.nnRespect.

Pros: nice people working here and we'll organized giving the logistical difficulty of COVID. The pulled pork sandwich was actually pretty good. The fries, although a generic frozen fry, were well seasoned and hot.nCons: the chili is basically flavored water, resembling green enchilada sauce minus the enchilada and any spice or flavor. There's basically nothing in it except broth and a few small chilis. Also, the spoon melts, which depending on how you look at it, may be a positive because the soup was very hot.
