The Last Steep Bar & Grill

I love this restaurant! It was a bit small but made you feel in a homey atmosphere, they sold local paintings on the walls as decor and the staff was very welcoming. Very clean restaurant and the food was delicious. We had a brisket tostones special and a chicken sandwich plus some cocktails and it was all very good. I would recommend making this a spot to stop at when in Crested Butte.

The BEST Hamburger and Sweet Potato fries in CB. I think the bun is homemade. I don't know what they do to the meat, but it's local and probably some of the steer that are on the road when we try to get from place to place down the road. It's nice that the local eating spots frequent the food from the local growers in the valley here. Even though it was covered, social distancing, I was able to sit in the corner and enjoy my luscious hamburger. At least once a week I think about the taste and have to get one. They also have other wonderful food but that's my special go to. The whole old town is quaint and restaurant buildings charming.

Great value for you money! We are vegetarian and vegan and we found plenty of delicious options that didn’t break the bank!nnThe cauliflower bites and the veggie burger were excellent and the onion rings were fried to perfection!nnWould 100% recommend to friend who visit here!

Visiting from Texas, great food, great service! We were able to see the mountain from our table which made lunch even more enjoyable. We had the Hawaiian jerk chicken sandwich, the dankwhich, the coconut shrimp, and a fish taco. The fish taco was the best we’d ever had. The waitress and bartender were both very kind and personable. Highly recommend!

Very cool place. Food was good with a diverse menu and a very good drink menu. The service was very good as well.nnNo biggie, but they give a discount to use cash (or really a fee to use a credit card) and their ATM did not have money for withdrawal. I am not too concerned with the 4%, but I could see the waitresses getting smaller tips as a result of this policy which is kind of a bummer for them.
