The Abbey Tavern

Decent beer selection. Would have liked to see a few more Irish beers on tap. Pretty good food selection, a fair price and they had vegetarian options. The inside was pretty cool and their patio was super cool. It's a nice tavern. Not super busy and following covid rules. Felt very safe.

Best pint of Guinness in town. Well managed pub with very friendly staff.nScotch eggs and rest of the menu never disappoint. Plus showing all Liverpool FC matches checks all the boxes !

Food is OK, love the rugby & other things on, a good pint ... But sadly certain of the staff concentrate almost exclusively on the regulars, the bonhomie being part of pub life - but with the casual visitor / walk-in being down the list of importance...

It was so great! Perfect atmosphere and the foods and drink were so good!
