Definetly my go-to spot from now on.nnEdit: 9 months later and its still my go-to spot. The staff is great. The Kava is potent, and the tea selection is solid.nnSecond edit: It's been years and these guys still rock. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the quality of their drinks are superb.
Great vibe and friendly staff. I've been coming here a little over a year and some change and while kava doesn't taste great the effects are worth the price and taste. Currently during the covid-19 pandemic, inside dining and outside benches are unavailable HOWEVER the staff have made changes to make customers feel more welcome during these times.
The Kava was excellent. Just don't drink too much. I drank 2 doubles and a pure kava shot then got sick, so try not to make my mistake.
Great island vibes here and the kava was superb. The bar tenders were super kind and happy to answer any questions.
Have you ever found a place that serves your favorite thing, and the people that work there are very personable? This is one of those places to me. If you are a fan of kava and in the area or Rancho Cordova, check out this branch. Covid 19 has been an ongoing issue for some time now (understatement of the year) however at this branch you wouldn't have to worry about standing outside. You can order inside and you can see the beautiful art display and culture of the origins of kava. Since you can stay inside, you have the options of taking your beverage home or socialize with friends outside, drink some kava and listen to music while you're at it. BEWARE! too much kava will make you feel intoxicated and show objective signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Even though kava isn't alcohol, you can still get a DUI if you drink too much and drive, so be careful and have some fun as you relax with your beverages.
