MacDuff's Pub in South Lake Tahoe is amazing! The best food and drink, best team members and incredible atmosphere.nGo hungry or you'll go home with more food than you can imagine.nWe love the corned beef and cabbage, huge burgers, delicious fish and chips, and authentic shepherd's pie.nIf you want a great combination, go fishing with Tahoe Sport Fishing, take whatever you catch to MacDuff's Pub and they'll prepare it for you. You'll get your fish prepared in three ways along with side dishes for an amazingly low price and enough food for the whole family.nMacDuff's Pub is awesome!!

Oh man was this place good! And the service? Spectacular! A mountain of food, and I loath bread pudding, but when my wife ordered it and they brought out two spoons I felt obligated to take at least 1 bite. Wow! I mean - WOW! INCREDIBLE!

Go - go - go February 2021 reviewnnSo so so good. In Rona they have outdoor dining only which is a mix of cute igloos with very small space heater or exposed bar height tables with actual space heaters. Dress in a warm jacket and hat, start with the French onion soup, it's beyond good and will earn you up!

My friend and I decided we wanted some tasty fish and chips for dinner, and ended up calling in an order to MacDuff’s. The woman who answered took our order quickly and efficiently, and when I arrived for pick up, despite being extremely busy, she managed to be welcoming and have excellent customer service while I waited for the order.nnInitially when I was ordering, I thought it was a bit pricey but after getting the order I realized how good of a value it is. The order came with two very large pieces of fish, and was served with a ton of fries, as well as a small cup of peas, and sauces. One order was more than enough to share.nnThe fish was flakey under the crispy breading, and was delicious with some of the included lemon and tartar sauce. The fries were good, about average, but nice and greasy and perfect with the fish.nnUnrelated since we didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the individual outdoor greenhouses for guests is a brilliant idea, especially for the cold Tahoe climate.

Rare you find a true pub outside of Britain. Always a pleasure going to McDuff's and it's the only one of two places I've found where I can get a Black & Tan without the tender looking at me like I've grown a second head! Food is lovely, service is excellent and prices are very reasonable for Tahoe. Always a return spot for us whenever we are in South Lake.nn10/10
