When I called them to fix a problem they were a amazing on the 1(800) number.. But when I have to talk to them in person I give them a zero..

Just shut it down. If you are only going to be open when everyone has to work, what is the point. First Place bank was great, excellent service and hours. Now you cut hours, service, charge for checks, etc. You are just Another Bank. As soon as I run out of checks, I am moving to another bank. I have had enough of Talmer to last a lifetime.

My sister and I are dealing with this branch of Chemical Bank, formerly Talmer, because of an estate account. Every employee I have spoken to at this branch, as well as individuals at the corporate office, are incompetent. My suggestion is to find another bank to entrust your funds to, even if you have to travel out of your way.
