Absolutely love this place. Coolest bar in Somerville

Going down the stairs to this subterranean bar give it a mysterious side. The decor is refine and classy. Servers are well dressed and very cordial. They also have sole good cocktails and drinks (beer, wine). The dark display of light gives the bar a romantic and discreet atmosphere. The music is minimum so you can easily discuss with your friends or dates.

The service, aesthetic, and food were all excellent, but the menu was very limited, and some of the dishes were pretty small for their price. The risotto in the charred heirloom carrots dish was delicious and savory but not overly rich. I also tried the Brussels sprouts which were perfectly crispy in the outside and the poutine which was great and also more filling than I expected.

Swanky, speakeasy feel to this place. It's got great food and a dark, romantic and cool atmosphere. Mixed Drinks are pricey but generally well made and with less expensive alternatives.

The food is 5 star here! The service is 3 star. Waitstaff and hostess station were lukewarm at best. Service should match the food.
