This store is one of the best in the Cincinnati area and about a 3-4 hour radius. They always have fair prices and a good selection of saltwater fish. They have tons of coral from low end to high end. After going in a few times the owner and his employees began to recognize me and they are more than welcome to help! Great shop, great customer experiences, great inventory and a great help!
Most of the reviews for this reef shop are very positive but my experience was the exact opposite. I walked in the store and the person behind the register never even acknowledged that I was there, which I was the only customer in the shop so he wasn't busy with someone else he was just watching TV on his phone. The selection of coral was pretty good but their prices were too high. They do have a great selection of high end fish and their prices on the fish seemed more reasonable. If looking for a high end tang then this store would be the place to go if looking for anything else then don't bother.
Great service, went in to just price a tank and run but ended up getting John’s full attention for 40 minutes. We talked about tanks, lighting and what I wanted to keep in it. I wanted a tank that I couldn’t find anywhere, he made one call to verify stock and I couldn’t leave without purchasing. I am looking forward to getting my tank next week, thanks.
Best store in Cincinnati hands down. John will help and work for you to make sure you are successful. He’s not just seeking fish!
John and his employees are some of the best around. I drive almost 45 minutes to come to this store and I always leave happy.
