I have been taking my children and now grandchildren to this Petland location for over 30 years! As a single mother and little cash for fun we would go to the Carriage Place Plaza for a almost free day of family time. Being able to spend time with the pets and learn about them from the employees is part of the experience.

Awesome visit today with my kids, I seen the animals were all clean, groomed and seemed healthy and happy as you'd expect puppy's to be. You can tell the staff that work at this location genuinely love their job, they interact with the animals just as much as they do the customers. They were attentive and professional.

Hi please read before purchasing your family pet from here...Our family was so happy to purchase our 1st pet besides our fishes ☺ufe0f baby Blue a Yorkie only 2 months old on last Saturday 3-20-21 from Petland in Columbus, we drove 2 hours from Cleveland to meet and bring home Blue. Blue was a sick dog and we was not aware of that at time of purchase. The only thing we was aware of was that Blue had been Neutered. But to our surprise Blue also had a Inguinal Hernia repair, that was not expressed during paperwork. Very long story short, three days only three days after bringing Blue home he was Rushed to the vet ER hospital for low blood sugar lack of eating dehydration extreme lethargy difficulty breathing weakness vomiting anorexia and hypoglycemia ud83dude2d Now I have already spent $5,000 for blue and only three days that our family had him, we had to put him in the VCA VET hospital where the resuscitated him to allow him to live and strive on his own and that was $2,010.98 for down payment for treatment and stay for 36 hours, we called everyday to check on Blue, everyone loved him. According to the Vets Blue shouldn’t never been sold so young and knowing he had lack of interest in eating and drinking, but hey people gotta make their money right? After 3 days we picked Blue up on yesterday evening they discharged him and finally payment was $1,036.00. He came home we was instructed on how to give him medicine and let him sleep and rest so he could heal. So this morning a whole week after purchase Blue is dead ud83dude2d my heart is broken my kids are crying and heart broken. Please be careful when purchasing a pet from here or any other pet store their Jobs are to sale make money not tell the truth about the true nature of the pet, not be honest and not care about your family and your happiness with your new family member. There is no way that in a week that we didn’t even really have the dog the dog was in the hospital the majority of time we had him only two days before he went into the hospital there’s no way he should be dead if he was such a healthy dog no way. If I could give you zero stars I would I will give you the lowest rating possible. This store should be ashamed of themselves selling sick puppies and dogs and cats and rabbits to innocent families and their children. Now we have a dog laying in his bed dead and no smh...Petland what you got to say, my family needs answers and a new dog ONLY ONE WEEK THO!!!

Been going to Petland Carriage Place for years. The owners are patient, kind, neighborly, and very knowledgeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else and recommend them all the time. A store is only a warehouse of sellable items, the service is what makes the difference!

Worst customer service of any place I've ever been I stood in the store for 30 minutes and still no one came to my aid to ask me if I needed any assistance or anything I had to call the store on the phone while inside the store shopping and had to ask how come I wasn't being assisted. the manager advised me that they were extremely busy and unable to help I noticed five employees including the manager not doing anything! I called the owner of the store they were not apologetic and basically did not care didn't even ask me my name, the lady whom answered the owners phone advise me that she would look into it and this would never happen again! Well I will not find out because I will never return!
