Finally a chef/owner has taken this space seriously and brings upscale casual dining to the Bedford Post. Roxanne and her team are doing great things here and only more to come!

The wait is over! Finally!! The all too familiar carousel of notable and not so notable chefs and would be restauranteurs that tried to make a go of it at the Bedford Post has thankfully come to an end. Luckily for all of us who live in the area, Roxanne Spruance has taken over as chef and owner and the results so far are incredibly encouraging. Chef Spruance is a fearless and creative force who simply gets it when it comes to running a successful restaurant and her determination and passion to reestablish the reputation of Bedford Post dining is clear the moment you meet her and watch her work. The menu is fun, inventive and has something for everyone. From delicious Brandade Biegnets and a Blooming Onion with Spinach and Artichoke Dip to Georges Bank Diver Scallops and Steak Frites the menu is rich in seasonal and regional options. Pastry Chef Luke Deardruff shares the passion for creativity and fearlessness and the options like Dark Chocolate Pudding Cake with fresh mint ice cream and the Rhubarb Pavlova with Lime Curd are the perfect ending to great meal. Welcome Roxanne Spruance & her team. Finally someone who gets it!!

Quaint spot with great food and cocktails. We’ve gone for brunch and dinner (masks on and outdoors) and felt safe. The outdoor bistro lights, vine wrapped canopy and heat lamps set a warm and romantic atmosphere.

Called multiple times to make a reservation today - no answer. Went in person to put my name down and the hostess said that we should be able to be seated. Then this Asian dude came out to help the hostess who was struggling with the iPad and he gave me nothing but attitude. I asked about the table and he said they already had a party that reserved their only table of 6 that I should've made a reservation. Then I asked if they could put some smaller tables together or sit us seperately and that we understand covid rules might mean we sit apart. And he basically ignored me and asked the people behind me if they would like to be seated. Super rude.nnIt's too bad cause the place looks beautiful and we were excited to go. But definitely won't be trying again if this is how they treat customers.nnReally disapointing.

Beautiful place and great food. I was disappointed with the scallops entrée. Three small scallops in sauce. Very small potion.
