Diamond Mills Hotel

My husband and I had a mini one night getaway. We are local and have always been curious about Diamond Mills. We decided to splurge and check it out. The room was very comfortable, clean, and bed was cozy. The view of the waterfall was beautiful. We did not use room service but it is available. We did have a couple of cocktails at the Tavern. It seriously was best espresso martini I have ever had (made with Stoli vanilla vodka). We ordered out and brought food back to our room from The Avenue Steakhouse - always amazing food! The only reason why it is not 5 stars is because I feel like the hotel could offer some type of recreation - pool, game room, etc - even lend out board games or something. Just an idea. Bonus - they have ice machines!!! Sometimes, smaller hotels don't have this.

Decided to stay overnight after visiting someone on the area. Room was nice and clean. View was great of the waterfall from the balcony .nBalcony was nice to sit out on and drink my coffee. Bed was comfortable and area was quiet even with the waterfall outside.

Beautiful setting, excellent staff considerate and attentive. Clean and safe. Delicious cuisine, kicking bar drinks!

I enjoyed my stay at Diamond Mills and look forward to returning in the future. I stayed in the Deluxe Room with the waterfall view. I wish the waterfall changed colors that would enhance the experience and bring more people to the quiet hallmark town of Saugerties. I enjoyed the chicken pot pie at the Hudson Valley Dessert Company, The BEST blueberry cheesecake ( real blueberries, homemade crunchy graham cracker crust and moist cheesecake) at Mirabella's, with live music on the weekend. I recommend going to woodstock which is a 15 minute drive north for more bars and experiences.

Location, room and service are all great and the waterfall is the icing on the cake. I could sit on the balcony for hours and enjoy the scenery. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
