The Tavern at Beekman Arms

Classic tavern in lovely Rhinebeck, NY in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Great pub fare, lots of great beers on tap including local brews like Mother’s Milk, and the place is steeped in history... The Beekman Arms was added to the original tavern in 1766 and has been operating ever since. According to their history, the tavern helped host the American Revolution. The Fourth Regiment of the Continental Army performed drills on the front lawn in preparation for the war, while George Washington, Philip Schuyler, Benedict Arnold, and Alexander Hamilton all slept, ate, drank, argued, and laughed here throughout the Revolutionary War. It’s been operating continuously ever since!

Picked up a takeout order. The food is always good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be able to dine in with them again. It is such a quaint old Inn and restaurant.

Fabulous dinner! Highly recommend the prime rib. The popover that accompanied it was the best I ever had!

Food choices was hreat, French onion soup was made correctly, just feel of the whole place was very nice, it was like being in a time capsule, the server and staff were very pleasant
