Wauw. The reviews set the bar high, but they live up to it. Great service, excellent wine list, great original food, the chocolate soufflé was to die for. Truly outstanding and correct price. Must eat of you’re in the neighborhood.

We are big supporters of locally owned restaurants and pre-pandemic would eat out 2-3x per week. We keep a mental list of our favorites and The Heights has always been in our top 5.nnDuring the pandemic they have climbed to our top spot. I can't imagine how difficult running a restaurant during this crisis must be, and we owned one pre pandemic. It must be incredibly challenging. The crew at The Heights has really done an incredible job. Curbside take home food has challenges as things tend to get soggy in and presentation often gets ruined. They are super efficient and in their curbside routine and always professional and friendly.nnThe best dish we've had during the pandemic from any restaurant (and we've had a lot) is their short rib stroganoff. The beef is super tender and delectable and the sauce is rich and savory. We've also had their burger several times and I was left wondering why they aren't frequently on the Best of Ithaca list for best burger, it's fantastic.

The chef is a genius and everything here is magical. A true gem of a restaurant. I can’t describe it - just go and thank yourself for making smart life choices.
