Argos Inn - Ithaca's Boutique Hotel

Amazing stay! Stayed around September 2020. Argos was great in social distancing and we had a virtual check in. We had the room closer to the front street but being from NYC the noise didn’t bother us at all. The rooms were clean and the building was well kept.. Loved the outside bar with great drinks and food truck. Wish they would do a little house keeping since we had plate and drinks from the bar pile up in our rooms. The location was central downtown close to the parks and vineyard. A very charming and lovely stay at Argos. Highly recommend.

The Argos Inn was the perfect place to spend a long weekend. The property is beautiful, comfortable, and clean and the location can’t be beat. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a COVID-safe getaway.

Every aspect of our stay at Argos was super. The contactless check in was easy and seamless, and the room was impeccable. Their cocktails were always a favorite of ours when we lived in Ithaca, and we weren't let down - DELICIOUS! And they were even more enjoyable with all the effort Argos has put into making the bar experience safe. It's entirely outdoors, and the many campfires and personal pods keep everyone safe and toasty even in the colder weather! The staff was kind and helpful, even during a time where their job descriptions have changed dramatically. Argos itself is a very short walking distance from the restaurants and cafes downtown, making it convenient for meals and shopping, and although much of Ithaca nightlife is closed, we made the most of it by taking advantage of the cards and other board games offered by the inn. Thank you, Argos Inn, for a great little getaway!

Argos Inn is absolutely amazing - it's gorgeous and very well thought out, from the rooms to the common areas to the outside bar. I came here for a long weekend (and my birthday) and the staff was so thoughtful, from making it easy for family to have flowers delivered to detailed check in (contactless) to an amazing light filled space with gorgeous interior design and detail.nnTraveling during a pandemic is nerve-wracking, but it's clear that the Argos team takes cleaning procedures and sanitizing very seriously. I saw them cleaning another room while there and they are beyond thorough. Staff wears masks at all times and guests are required to as well aside from when eating/drinking in the breakfast room.nnBar Argos is also a total gem, especially the outside area by the star lights! Drinks can be ordered and delivered inside for guests, which was a nice touch on the colder nights. Their hot drinks were all delicious and the prices are very fair-priced for how amazing the cocktails are.nnI will definitely stay here again if I am back in Ithaca, and encourage you all to check it out and do the same!

This place was exquisite! We travel a lot and this was possibly the most interesting place we have ever stayed. We stayed in the Purple Peacock room and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The building is an immaculately restored historic home. The attention to detail with the restoration, decor and fixtures was awe-inspiring. And the outdoor entertaining spaces are unmatched in Ithaca during this time of COVID. There is no question we will be returning. Highly recommend.
