Simply one of my favorite restaurants in Ithaca. The staff is lovely and the food is delicious. I have serious questions about why the fried oysters are so good! The crab cake is also delicious. My family bases our coleslaw recipes on the Maxie’s rwb slaw (with bleu cheese).

If this review was based only on our waiter, I would give it one star. Either he was poorly trained or just didn't care. Fortunately for his tip and for us, we were seated at a table in the bar area. The hostess, bartender and the woman who ran our food were gracious, kind and attentive. Our main meals were delicious and the raw bar was outstanding. I didn't care for my dessert but my husband's key lime pie tasted like Florida. We will be back for certain

Had a great time! Food was excellent, staff warm friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back!! Good drinks and music too!

While heading through town up to Cayuga Lake we stopped for dinner. We arrived just in time, within 15 min. Service was nice and reliable. Glad we stopped there.
