The chicken is so, so good but do not sleep on the DESSERT! We got the chocolate bread pudding with our last takeout order and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. You really can’t go wrong anywhere on this menu.

Duck Fat Fried Chicken gets me every time. Need my fix. Seriously the best fried chicken ever. And the collard greens. And Uncle G's hot sauce. and bottle cocktails. DANG.

Best fried chicken & collard greens for miles and miles, hands down. The secret hot sauce is no joke. Great people as well.

The pivot these folks made to take out and the picnic menu is impressive! Delicious fare with an eye for detail and creativity. && those picnic tables?! The socially distant outdoor seating is so well done. The Staff are kind and you get the feeling that they genuinely care about you and your experience. More chicken, please.

Love love love the vibe here! We travel from NYC and went to the Rook for very first dinner in Ithaca. My favorite was date-bacon. The BBQ ribs were bomb and please try their hot toddy.nThank for keeping the business running through the hard time!
