Kookalaroc's Bar and Grill

Another visit on a whim. We wanted a quick bite but ended up a long wait, they were short staffed but honestly the place is amazing. We enjoyed checking out the place as they have an array of things hanging everywhere. By the time our food was served it was well over an hour but the food was delicious and made up for the wait.nWe were given a few gift certificates and the owner was very accommodating and will surely visit again ud83dude00

Food was great. I got the broiled sea food platter came out quick and delicious. Wife got the fish fry, she loved it as well. Kids got the Mac n cheese, they loved their food. Bill wasn't too bad for a family of five.

Beautiful place! New, fresh, fun decor!nnWait staff needs to step it up a notch, but, this was my first visit so I will give them another chance.nnFood was great- fish fry is probably the best ANYWHERE.nnPrices are inline with most any other eatery.nnWill definitely go back again.

Lots of menu choices! Ordered the surf and turf, scallops were excellent, but steak was overcooked and a bit greasy, usually I can get by with steak sauce, but sadly they couldn't find any bottles in the entire restaurant with any left. The lobster roll was excellent. Loaded fries were great! Shrimp jammer were very tasty! And fried cauliflower was also good!

Nice atmosphere, food looks good however does not live up to look. Had the shrimp jammers and they were good but no spice or kick. Then the surf and turf with scallops. Lacked flavor. The only flavor was the pickled onions in the mixed vegetables. Its going to be awhile to wash that taste out of our taste buds.
