New York Country Club

The course is in good shape but the service was horrible.

Course is always in great shape, and the team there is excellent! Really makes you feel welcome. Fun holes and even if you had a bad round, the renovated bar/restaurant will cheer you right back up! Hole 10 will always be one of my favorites!

New York Country Club (NYCC as us locals call it) is truly a gem nestled in the woods like a beautiful Red Headed Woodpecker. The club is always well kept, with perfectly edged fairways, lush - but unforgiving - rough, fast and steep greens, and the finest staff you’ll find. On a perfect day (and let’s be honest here, it’s always a perfect day at NYCC) you can see NYC from the 10th tee box, then you try to wack a drive down the 320 yard par 4 and hit it in the water... every single time. I wouldn’t change a thing, and will always suggest me and my good pals play here.nn*AFTER careful thought and consideration, I would change one thing. The 9th hole. It’s straight up hill and I always put at least a 7 on the scorecard there. If it was up to me I would just skip that hole every time and play 10 twice.*

Very nice view and very well kept golf course

Very odd social distancing policy of two riders per cart. One player drives one hole while the other walks, then you switch the next hole. Kind of defeats the purpose of social distancing if we’re touching the same surfaces. Carts also looked unclean. I found a previous players almonds in my cart. Who knows how many people used the cart before me without it being cleaned. Just incredibly unsafe practices. I told management about this and they were pretty rude during the entire interaction. Won’t be going back to New York Country Club.
