Rose Hill Farm

Great orchard! We stopped here on our drive back home from upstate and had a wonderful time. The apples are delicious. The tap room was open with outdoor seating on a sunny deck with great views of the orchard. I purchased two bottles of their sparkling natural wine and absolutely love it. Highly recommend!

Beautiful orchards! During apple picking season, it might be hard to find a place that isn't crowded with too many people and with quality apples. But Rose Hill Farm is super reliable and now my go to apple picking farm!nThey have cute benches as well to have lunch and delicious apple desserts with friends and family.

spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Rose Hill with the extended family - husband, 3 kids and grandma. We drove two hours from Brooklyn and loved it. This is not your typical apple picking spot with tons of games, petting zoo and the works. It's calm, relaxed and friendly. Plenty of apples. Pumpkins, too. Prices are totally reasonable. The cidery was awesome and we were excited to find some Suarez family brewery options there.

Arrived at 11am on a Friday and there was plenty of parking and space. We were greeted by a very kind young man who told us exactly what apples were available and where, as well as what to look out for in terms of signage. The apples were plentiful and delicious!! The grounds are lovely and widespread, we barely saw anyone while we were picking which allowed us to have the occasional bite. After picking apples, paid per lb (or bushel) and went to the cidery where we had a stunning view of the mountains. Word of warning, apple cider donuts are only available Sat + Sun. Nevertheless a beautiful place to spend a wonderful day with loved ones!

Visited late August for peach picking 1st time. Friendly staff. Beautiful day. Too bad we couldn't have the peaches on site due to COVID. Otherwise I would get at least two boxes instead of just 6 pieces. It was contender... I think. They were so delicious. Never had the same perfect balance of sweetness/acid from any market in NYC. Hope to visit again next year.
