The Beacon Hotel

Brought my date here last night and had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and courteous to us. The drinks were done well and strong too. We chose the specials for the night. Bone-in NY strip was amazing and the grouper was really good. We ended the night very nicely with the grandma's chocolate cake.

Not basing this review on staying at the hotel. The gem underneath it though is Carters Restuarant. It was delicious. Service is great. If your looking for a great place to snag a drink and some great food this is the spot. Quality is worth the trip down the busy Beacon streets.

We loved it! The food was delicious! The prime rib was super, the ravioli was scrumptious and the dessert was so yummy! The classic margarita was made perfectly! We sat out on the patio under the heaters and really enjoyed it. The best part was the service and the owner John and his kids. They were so attentive, kind and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Carters restaurant review...we have ordered several times from this delicious restaurant. We called in our order and owner John suggested the special cauliflower ravioli with leeks and pancetta. Omg delicious. Everything we ordered was just spot on...coconut shrimp is a wonderful regular app for us. We had the Caesar salad with perfectly cooked shrimp, the argula salad is exceptional. We loved the lobster mac and cheese and filet mignon was perfection. My mom's favorite is Chicken Eugene, magnificent blend of cherry peppers, potatoes, sausage and chicken. We've ordered cocktails in the past and they were a great blend of creative flavors. One of our favorite go to places. Always spot on. Excellent service.

Great food, chef came out to say hello and check on meal! Treated like gold! Recommend highly!
