Last Sunday my wife visited the Emergency Room. She was warmly welcomed and screened by the E.R. nurse Mr. Jenkins. Soon afterwards, she was admitted to the E.R. and had undergone thorough tests. A diagnosis was provided, medicine prescribed, and she was discharged. Her E.R. physician and 3 RN nurses were incredibly competent, skilled and very comforting. Thank you Columbia Memorial! My wife has one more week of medication and is on her way to a full recovery.

This is not the hospital to go to if you are looking for any kind of assistance or actual health care.nLeaving someone to sit for 12 hours with one tiny bottle of water, not doing the procedure they were sent specifically there for, being basically ignored by nurses is not patient care. When patients cannot advocate for themselves this hospital fails them in every single way.

If I can give less than a 1 star I would. Terrible people skills and I'm not just talking nurses but the entire columbia memorial staff need to take some serious people skill development classes. Not only was I ignored and disrespected during my ER visit for covid related symptoms they were so rude when I asked for my covid test results which they never told me I'd be directly to a voicemail to recieve in person. If this wasn't the only hospital in proximity I would never go. You leave feeling worse than you came in. Go to needs to shut this place down. No one cares about patient and patient care here.

I sit in with an individual i serve at the hospital, and I don't know if its because the individuals are disabled why they put two covid positive patients in same room. I thought the norm is to isolate individuals by themselves when they are covid positive

I called an ambulance for my daughter, who was suffering excruciating abdominal pain, coupled with vomiting and diarrhea. The EMT, Robin, was very nice, and the staff at Columbia Memorial were wonderful from the moment we entered their front doors. Of course, their main concern was whether we were exposed to COVID-19 (we were not). But then they ushered me and my daughter into a private back room because she was a minor. She had blood work, an IV, a pelvic x-ray, and urine sample within minutes of our arrival, and Dr. Kristy Bowen was outstanding. She literally spent a solid 15 minutes explaining my daughter's ailments, test results, and possible diagnosis. The staff, nurses, and even billing dept. were all lovely and sweet. We were in and out in about two hours. Thank you for taking care of my daughter!
