I was referred to this U of U clinic by my primary care physician. I had stepped on a piece of glass that was lodged in my foot and had an appointment for general surgery. I was scheduled with Dr. Savarise and his team and upon arriving I was treated with a short demeanor, not that I expect 1000% service but I do expect to be treated like a person. At the start of my appointment and teaching the student what she needed to know about administering anesthesia he wasn’t able to remove the glass and told me that I would need to go under at a further appointment but wanted to do an X-ray to see what if any was left inside my foot. I went to the radiology suite as instructed and they told me that they could clearly see the piece of glass. After that, I went back to the office limping because I hadn’t received any further instructions - no discharge papers, no further recommendations, etc after cutting me open. Not only was I rushed away but my insurance is going to pay for this appointment. Dr. Savarise told me that he cut an incision big enough for the glass to come out on its own and didn’t even give me discharge paperwork or a pain reliever— I was literally a waste of his time though I pay 500 a month for my family health insurance . I literally have to go to another hospital for help because they basically refused to help me with their lackadaisical approach to helping people in their community. Please don’t just let any doctor or their team work on you. You have the right to be inquisitive. I hope that others won’t be treated here or by Dr. Savarice and his team unless they clean up and do better. I have been a patient of the U of U Health Clinics since I was a little girl. I’m highly disappointed.

I love this hospital. The staff are amazing and so are the doctors. I most importantly love my OB Dr. Reynolds. He is truly the most kind hearted, caring doctor that I have ever had.

I called this morning to ask if I needed an appointment to go to the lab. I was told no that walk ins where welcome and that they were open to 3pm today. I drove from out of state for over a hour and a half to get there and they are closed and closed at 12. So frustrating!!!

I drive out my way from north salt lake to this location specifically because the of the clean clinic and also the doctors and staff are all great and friendly here.
