I personally only know of bishops because of its lGBTQ customers and the Short Cake Drag show which used to be known as Monday’s are a drag. I love the atmosphere and the porch is nice if you vape or smoke. The drag shows are a blast and I always love going here Thankyou for such a beautiful safe space.
This is my favorite Northampton night club, hands down.nnVery alternative, with live music throughout the week. You’ll find plenty of hippies, queers, while straight people are sometimes in the minority depending on the night.nnBishops has a warm local feeling that can’t be matched.
Monday Night Jazz is excellent. The Zack Bartolomei Trio brings innovative jazz and improvisation. Truly gifted musicians. Gabby our bartender was fabulous and mixes a great drink. Excellent beer selection. Jazz every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
I used to live in this place back in my 20s. Now I like to go there from time to time to do karaoke on Sundays or see comedy. It's the place to be in town if you want to drink on a balcony. Staff is good but space is relatively small. Not the best if you're claustrophobic!
Great atmosphere. Great fun. Ill go back as often as i can
