Food is inventive and tasty. Ordered the special, Chicken Praline. Got half a very meaty chicken in a delicious sauce with asparagus and potato pancake stuffed with sliced butternut squash. Yum! Started with a house salad with the house poppy seed dressing. Quite a large side salad and the dressing was delicious. And of course you can't go to Judie's without ordering a popover! So much food I took half of it home. And the entree was under $20! With the students gone it was quiet and restful. Very attentive wait staff. All in all, a lovely evening at a great local restaurant.
In addition to eating dinner, we often go late in the evening for drinks and dessert. Our absolute favorites are the Toasted Almond drink and the Popover sundae. Both are big enough to share and absolutely delicious regardless of who makes them. Bartenders are friendly and pleasant. Well worth stopping in for any meal!
Many people recommended us to try Judie's Restaurant. It won't disappointed you. The food are very good. This restaurant served a unique bread for each customer. After I ate the salad and the bread already half full. The main dish was good portion. Overall everything was great. Only thing I want to say, the service is slow becuase not enough waitress or waiters. The restaurant is very busy on the weekend. They should hire more wait staffs to shorter the waiting time for the food to come.
Food and service was outstanding. Super fresh, unique dinner that was not pricey. I honestly can't wait to go back!
Great popovers and deserts. Huge servings of comfort foods is a plus.
