What a great place, you have to stop in and see the bar, it is amazing!! And the rest of the bar is also very nice. Stop in and have a beverage and enjoy.

We attempted to have dinner here around 6:00. We walked in to see several empty tables. When we spoke to a server, she said the dining room was full but to check the bar. We checked the bar to be told they were full as well. We were not offered an opportunity to wait or a seat on the empty patio. I fully understand that they may have had several reservations for the empty tables, and if that was the case and had been communicated to us, I would have been far more accepting. As it was, we were told that a restaurant that was clearly not full was full and we were turned away. It was truly bizarre.

We have had dinner at the Timberwolf Inn many times. Tonight it was terrible. Prime rib stunk, my wife had a steak and she said it was cold. Service was worse than the food. They were busy with a small wedding party but look, while you sell them a $10 meal your screwing repeat customers that frequent your establishment. As far as service goes. I really don't mind if your busy. Just tell me what's up and we will understand. Give us poor service and you get no tip from me.

Hotel = A+nnRestaurant = D-nnSpent 2 nights here while grouse hunting and fishing near marcell. Spent they day working very hard to chase grouse, came back to hotel literally starving. Restaurant was packed with a line at 7:30 so we came back at 8 and found a spot at the bar. We were told the kitchen closes at 10 when we checked in so we weren't too concerned. We were served a beer and we asked for a menu but we were ignored. Tried to get the bartenders attention several times to get a menu. Finally, at 8:45 we were able to get the bartenders attention only to find out the kitchen was closing at 9 and there would be no dinner for us. I was incredibly upset by this as we were so hungry we couldn't see straight. This is actually the second time this exact same thing has happened to me here. The Timberwolf Inn should give their hotel guests some priority as they are relying on the restaurant to eat. There is no McDonald's down the street for a backup option. Every other aspect of the business is very good, been coming here for years. This really pisssed me off, not sure if I'll be back.
