Applebee's Grill + Bar

Stopped in at the restaurant after a hard days work and grabbed something to eat. The place wasn't too busy so the service was very good and our waiter was attentive to our needs. Was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, though I got the southwest steak bowl and it was a bit spicier than I liked but that was on me for trying something new. Otherwise very good service and friendly staff.

The 1 waitress (Laura) was very nice and the food was quick but everybody else was very rude. It was like we weren't allowed there. Very uncomfortable. Very. I hope Grand Rapids, MN is the only Applebees that is like this. Besides that, I got an upset stomach from the food.

We’ve never had a good experience at this location but got a gift card for Christmas so figured we’d give it another chance at least. We chose Carside pickup, (where they only have 4 spots available to use) and because it was prime dinner time, it was fairly busy. There were no available designated Carside parking spots when we arrived so we parked 1 spot over. The email said I would receive a text once the food was ready so we weren’t worried about it. After waiting for 45 min (never received a text btw) a waitress (Stacia, I think her name was?) finally came out and, quite rudely, confirmed my name and then said “yeah I’m not supposed to go outside of the cameras.” Fine. Understandable. But why were we not informed of this when our food was apparently done 30 min prior to this? Food was sh!t, service was sh!t, never again.

Service was excellent. Burbon Street stake was great.

A experience that I have encountered twice in consecutive visits. Staff takes order for drinks for my date and I. She has a margarita 1 for myself. Dinner soon followed. We had ordered a second round of water & 1 shot for her. Management had to come over to our table to disrespect my date as well as myself. I had no idea Applebee's picks and chooses to whom they serve a second cocktail too. Then I paid my bill with bank card in which they thought they had permission from a company executive to charge whatever they like to. I had 2 receipts upon leaving business and a final on statement of activity to prove 3 separate transactions from employees/employer ie::management. Furthermore re: it takes my time and effort to track all this and costs me money to so.. refund 25 dollars and a week later. Second experience a few days ago. My friend was wanting food before our evening started. They got me again this time with a nasty blue brown cheese on salad I would not ever serve to my worst customer or enemy. Then the hamburger oh yes my readers the classic greasy cheese burger . Imagine a garden full of heads of lettuce. Shaved and lubed for a crazy day of Wesson session. On a water bed of bun. I think the picture is clear . American restaurant supply is sure in need of a few commercial items. Culinary arts has online classes available and the English coach is soon to close open enrollment. To those ro whom don't speak English or to those that felt it was necessary to disrespect the Italian that is not only letting you know as a whole. I think its clear Applebee's doesn't Care either way. So I think I will have to throw it out there. I'd be honored to close on business relations and build a better business for tomorrow that will exceed your expectations. At the exact location hwy169 grand rapids Minnesota 55744.
