The clam chowder special soup was so good! The house sirloin was cooked perfectly and the fried chicken with spicy honey sauce was a great balance of sweet and spicy. The basil rathbone cocktail was a sweet and sour blueberry lemon drink.

Delicious food. Fun, upbeat vibe.

Great drinks! Bad, pretentious, slow service. Will come back and sit at the bar to avoid the awful dining room experience

Very disappointed with our food. My husband and I have eaten here in the past on Saturday nights, this time we ate on Thursday evening. We were one of two tables in restaurant. The service was slow, but friendly. Our food was just okay at best. I ordered thenNY steak medium and it came out rare, sat for about five minutes before server came over with potatos that were ordered with steak. Steak was sent back and came back a little better but far from medium. My daughter is a vegan and no choices for her except French fries and a salad that had canned chick peas with the meat left off. I have always loved this place but something was wrong tonight. I did get a free desert due to eating a steak not cooked right. Sorry to say, might not return after being stung with just okay food.

Located in North Minneapolis in a bustling neighborhood, Peacock lounge has a more of an old Craftsman look. Looks of older wood work and chandeliers. It has two rooms, one being more of a bar area and the other an open concept dining room. Almost has a reception feel to it. My wife and I ordered the calamari which was cooked perfect. Not rubbery and lightly breaded. But that was the best thing we had. She ordered some sort of chicken dish, basically chicken wings. While I ordered the NY strip medium rare plus. Both the dishes looked amazing but her chicken was so dry and my steak was so plain. No flavor in either. The sauces that came with were okay. I'll give it one more chance since we were with a pretty big group ($$-$$$).
