Food, service and selection can't be beat!
Jax has been a family favorite of ours since before I was even born. The Sunday brunch is truly an event, with old school class, great food, and great service. It’s a perfect date night spot as well; we particularly enjoy the pierogi, spinach and artichoke dip, and the steaks! You can’t miss with the fresh trout, either. There’s not a better dining experience for the price in all of the Twin Cities, truly. It’s a family business at its finest, and they always make you feel taken care of.
Fantastic brunch! Everything was great, the omelet I had was one of the best I have had in a long time. The service was second to none and the ambiance was unbelievable. If you have never been, just go!
One of the best steaks I’ve had in my life. I recommend getting it one step rarer than you usually order as the steaks come out on a hot plate that continues to cook it a little. Be sure to check out the back patio in the warmer months!
I would normally rate them 5 stars for their fantastic Easter brunch in Non Covid times. However, this year...no brunch and instead the sit down brunch menu was quite limited. While I have no problem paying the brunch fee, the side dishes were outrageously priced, which I thought was rather userous.nFood was still quite excellent. Miss the great options and choices of their normal spread.
