Henry Ford Health Center - Brownstown

Just returned from my first visit to Dr. Christina Lucas - Vougioklakis, DO office as a new patient. Dr. Lucas and her staff were Outstanding. I retired from 0ver 45 years as a healthcare provider. Doctor Lucas and Staff are the be the Best you will ever find. I am very thankful to be a patient now with this superior group.

Not all of the nurses are rude; in fact a lot of them are actually polite and helpful, but the bad ones always leave a horrible taste in your mouth. My insurance only allows me to use one specific pharmacy, otherwise I am penalized. I told them this and one very large nurse who looks like she is suffering from a brutal case of diabetes raised her voice and got sarcastic with me when I tried to make this clear to them. On top of that, an item of mine was lost while I was incapacitated. Besides all this, it took forever for my surgery to get started because the anesthesiologist was late. How unprofessional. Good lord, go at your own risk.

This used to be my urgent care of choice until covid. I'm not sure what changed but I won't go there anymore. I am one of a small number of people that doctors willingly prescribe powerful opioid medications for constant severe pain due to nerve damage. I suffer from a myriad of conditions that make intense, constant pain, nausea and severe vomiting a fact of everyday life. Some days it's so bad I can't keep any of my medications down and require hospitalization. The last couple trips here, the doctor ( I believe it was the same doctor on call the last few times) assigned to me refused to administer any pain medication even though i'm prescribed it. They treated my nausea with iv meds, then they watched me descend into withdrawal and discharged me sweating, shaking, sick and in such pain I could not walk unaided, requiring a wheelchair to be evicted from the ER after I'd begged for help, I even showed them the prescription bottle! The last time it was so bad that the nurse who wheeled me out to the curb told me I should go to Beaumont ER in Trenton and check back in there, because I was in such bad shape, and she knew I would not receive the care I needed at Henry Ford Brownstown.nMy family keeps telling me I need to contact a lawyer and after much thought on the matter they may be right. This kind of treatment borders on, if not crosses over to malpractice and is just plain unethical. I can't believe any doctor would willingly force a middle aged handicapped individual to suffer like that under their care unless they enjoyed it.

I love the quick friendly service I always receive at this location. I prefer to have labs or x-rays done because they are always quick. I highly recommend visiting this location if given the chance. Blood work is done first thing in the morning and I'm not even late for work.

By far the most efficient hospital I have ever been to.Andrea in ultrasound is so great and very friendly. I have always had trouble getting my blood drawn and get nausea and the ladies are always very sweet and understanding and try and distract me. The customer service here and bedside manners are outstanding! Today I got a ultrasound and blood work done in 30 minutes. Now no matter what I need to get done my family and myself always request to come here instead of other hospitals.
