I am so upset/disappointed with the University of Michigan: Michigan Medicine Pediatric Sleep Clinic and N.P. Diane Renee Kemp!nnAfter waiting a month for our scheduled 8 AM virtual appointment, having been logged into their system 5 minutes early, waiting for 45 minutes, calling the office twice to make sure we were logged in correctly and asking where the NP is (the office called her twice as well looking for her), we finally got a call from the Diane Renee Kemp saying that we just miraculously showed up in the system at 8:40 AM. No online system has a 40 minute lag time.nnMy wife moved a client meeting and we adjusted our daycare schedule for this scheduled appointment that the nurse simply brushed off.nnThe nurse practitioner waited until 5 minutes before her next appt to call us. Why? If for some unknown reason she did not see us in the virtual chatroom, why wait 40 minutes to call looking for us? Why wouldn't she call after 15 minutes? We did. We called the office twice because we didn't see her.nnHow can this be normal operating procedure? And how can ignoring calls from your office looking for you for your scheduled appt be acceptable? Diane said she doesn't answer calls from the office while she is in sessions, but she wasn't in a session. We were her scheduled session and she said we weren't there.nnJust to be transparent, I'm confident the nurse N.P. flat out overslept and skipped our scheduled time.nnNow we need to wait to see if C.S. Mott tries billing our insurance for an appt that never happened.nn#csmott #csmottchildrens
