Good morning,nnMy husband and I started off pretty confident in Centria when my daughter first began ABA. However, during the pandemic we were given the hardest time. The virtual classroom began being pushed by the company but our location kept lying to my family saying our insurance did not cover when in fact it did. It was not until I threatened to leave that I was then told our insurance would cover it. That went on for a month before it was resolved. Then once my daughter started virtual therapy, the issue came about of Centria not wanting to give her a iPad because she started out doing only 4 hours a week. They wanted her to do 15 hours or she could not get the iPad. This is a 4 year old autistic child who is not going to stay in front of a screen for 4 hours a day. I was willing to increase her hours gradually but they wanted it immediately. I was not willing to do that and in result my child was denied her right to a device. My health insurance has paid Centria thousands of dollar for therapy over the last 2 years and now my daughter’s services are denied over a $500 device????? When Centria is a million dollar company?!!! I am very disgusted at the lack of compassion here. Schools are giving away devices smh. Please do better for future families.

Waste of time and money. Do not work here. Very little guidance. Expects you to put in tons of commitment and money up front before you even start the job and doesn’t give you enough time to finish requirements. It’s no wonder why you can’t get anyone good or keep them!nPaid for Tb test and CPR/first aid, spent countless hours training (despite having years experience) only to be told that I HAD TO ATTEND a Red Cross training in person, despite a pandemic. I already found a class and they told me it was fine, go ahead with it. Then I was told that I must attend an in person class. Seeing how Covid is still going on, I didn’t want to attend a potentially crowded INDOOR class that is expensive and I have to pay out of pocket! Totally unreasonable. I tried to reach Melani but she refused to contact me back.nPlease heed these poor reviews! Only hurting the children with your stringent policies which clearly aren’t working.

I was extremely disappointed with the services from Centria. They did not genuinely care about my child or his progress. It always seem to be a push for hours! Lost in these hours were what was best for the child & family.Therapists & managers were constantly changing.

As an applicant who dropped out of the training program, I was shocked at how aggressive the Centria staff are. They would call at 6am to question why the training hadn’t been completed and threaten to remove me from the program if I didn’t complete it in half the time they originally told me I had to complete it. When I asked for assistance because the course materials they provided were incorrect, I was ignored for 5 days, and the response I received was that I was removed from the program. The treatment of applicants in the training program was awful and the staff were incredibly disrespectful. For a company that is supposed to provide direct patient care to children, it makes me wonder why the staff behave that way and why they treat people so poorly.
