A moderate laceration landed my husband in the ER on Easter. The staff was extremely courteous; listening to our concerns with his reactions to the sight of blood, and ensuring he didn't pass out. The service was very quick and efficient. The plan of action was well thought out and comprehensive to ensure nothing was missed. The staff was friendly and made sure he was comfortable. Roberta, who did his stitches, was absolutely amazing! She did a different type of stitch, explained why and it was probably one of the best jobs I've ever seen! Her bedside manner all the while working was informative and absolutely relaxing for my husband! She deserves a daisy award! Thank you St. Joes!
The facility was clean and everyone was very kind! The nurses were wonderful! They were all very helpful to me and kind. Kelly, and the nurse upstairs with cold hands were amazing and helped me get ready for my procedure. Laurie, my recovery nurse, listened to me babble about tacos and random stuff while I was waking up! Nurses are such special people! The anesthesiologist, Dr Gutter, was very kind and helpful. I was very happy with my procedure and the whole process. Thanks everyone for your hard work, especially during covid when things are probably more crazy than normal. I'm in no rush to come back but I'd come here if I needed to!
I had a bilateral Hernia repair yesterday. I cannot thank enough the staff, all of the nurses, the surgeon and anesthetic docs for taking care of me. I could not be happier. Very professional, compassionate top notch team.
Went here for some severe abdominal pain and throwing up. After being put into a room I didn’t get help for 2-3 hours. After getting up to ask for help outside of the room I was helped. They told me my potassium is low because of throwing up but didn’t diagnose me with why I have been throwing up. Here I am the next day, In another hospital because the treatment I received was minimal and has not helped me at all, I feel even worse today. I do not think I got the help I needed here along with the paper work I received making no sense and not even showing directions to 1/2 of the prescriptions given to me or a diagnostic. Don’t come here if you have the option. I think it’s more worth it to drive to the other side of town.I would personally never take any loved one here if I had the option to go somewhere else. I wouldn’t want them to receive the terrible care this place provides.
If you go here for the emergency room, be prepared to pay extra to see a doctor who doesn't actually work for the hospital. But is a 'contract' doctor. We gota bill for $700 to be referred to Ann Arbor.nI guess in this economy doctors are like uber drivers now?
