Good food. Laid back atmosphere

The fried chicken had a thick extra crispy coating yet still remained moist and tender. The breaded tenderloin sandwich for $5.50 was almost as big as Indiana, and also a delightful treat. Now under new ownership, this historic inn has the potential to get even better.

Great hometown bar with great character

I ordered our food and was told to arrive in 30-45 minutes. And call in so they could bring my order out. I waited over an hour for my food. So when a female employer came out to the car next to me. I asked her about my order. She said she would go check and be tight back. After she never returned and I had waited well over an hour. I left. If others are waiting this long, the issue needs to be addressed.

Good food, family friendly, and great service. My favorites are the tenderloin, fried green beans, and giant salads. Always a positive experience.
