Zaps was a lot of fun!! It's out in the country but the place was packed! The service and the food was amazing, ill definitely be making plans to go back
Food is great. Beer is cold. Serve is less than desirable. After 45 minutes we just went to the bar and got our own pitchers. Even though I live nearby, I will not regularly return.

This was my 3rd restaurant experience since visiting from Florida for work. I was starting to think the MT.VERNON area didn't understand the concept of Hospitality until I visited this establishment. The servers and Bar keep where extremely attentive and welcoming. Even during their rush hour. This gem was well off the beaten patch tucked away between MT.Vernon and Evansville. Given its remoteness I surely didn't expect the caliber of Hospitality I received nor the popularity. I found them via Google and the food pictures were enough to entice my visit. I found the loaded chips with Pulled BBQ Cheese very satisfying. This became my go to spot, As they set the bar pretty high for Hospitality! Enjoy!
Was once Weinzapfels you recognize the building but inside is beautiful! The Texas Tenderloin is exactly what you think of and everything you want!nnThat sausage burger is so satisfying. Reminds me of the fair.nnChicken & Dumplins is exactly like my mother's. Awesome
