I have been a vegetarian for over 30 yrs so I was thrilled when I saw Bru offered both vegetarian and vegan burgers. With that said I have eaten some awesome vegetarian burgers over the yrs, I ordered the black bean burger with high hopes but honestly it was just ok. Honestly the one at Bush-Gardens little Cafe in Tampa was better and it was clearly a store bought type frozen patty. The bun was great, condiments/toppings on point the patty just fell apart off the burger as I ate it the flavor just wasn't there. That said they offer 2 other veggie patties so I will try those and update review if it changes.
Yes, they are new and yes they are busy but we had a fantastic experience. The staff actually made us feel like we mattered. Thank you for a great evening out.
Absolutely awful experience. Went there for reservation for a table for 7 at 6:15. Did not get seated till 6:40. Waitress did bring us our drinks, and then we waited 20 minutes to order. After 40 more minutes of waiting, we mutually decided to leave. On top of waiting for a reservation that should have been ready, we did not eat anything. Very disappointed. Bru burger is one of my favorite restaurants, but this location let me down by far.
Quick to seat and serve appetizers. Very slow with burgers. Lunch for two today took 50 minutes. Burgers were large and very tasty.
Got takeout the first night they were open. Order was messed up, missing some items. Emailed them and got a reply the same night offering to refund or replace meal. Just had second meal and it was perfect and delicious. Great management and staff!
