Didn't win but still had fun. Was treated like an old friend.
Boomtown Cafe is NOT a cafe in even the loosest sense of the word.nnIt is a tiny slot parlor. About 5 or 6 slot machines, and that's it.nnNot a place to go if you want food or coffee. Locals seem familiar with this fact, but travelers and tourists to Point Pleasant, be warned.nnAll that said, the folks there seemed friendly and the patrons seemed to be having a good time. Probably a fine -- if quite small -- slot parlor, despite it's deceptive name.
