Delightful country B& B near the Deerfield River. Clean simple rooms with a touch of home charm. Quite for Saturday night. Place was jammed for dinner with the town crowd & guest. All enjoying a sampling of the wonderful selection of home cooked meals. Definitely worth the stop.
The restaurant is very clean, food is excellent and the beer is very cold. Perfect place to watch a Sunday afternoon football game
The Inn just ‘gets the job done’ as some would say. Everything is just OK, you just gotta hope that ‘Stephen’ the town drunk is not hanging around at night. The night we stayed, a couple was having a brutal shouting match out side of our window, service was non-existent, and when we arrived, our room was freezing. Not what you want on a chilly Vermont night.
Unfortunately our experience at Readsboro Inn was not good, took 15 to 20 minutes for our drink order, we ordered terriayki chix wings Xtra crispy, they were not crispy and pink inside by the bone, sent them back and took it off the bill, prime rib was tasty but not hot, warm mashed potatoes not hot, after 2 hours and 15 minutes we left with not wanting to go back, sorry
Great food, atmosphere and drinks. Very friendly staff, I highly recommend for a road trip
