Currently waiting on my fifth hour and since coming almost every spot has been sat in once if not twice and not a single time has anything been cleaned or disinfected. I’m here for possible pneumonia or COVID and it’s sad to think I could be in there contaminating the place and nobody would have cleaned it before the next person. They have cleaned the bathrooms though. Luckily I’m a decent person and am waiting outside in the cold cause I don’t want to spread whatever is landing me here. Please keep your emergency room clean!

My son was brought by ambulance to Franklin Medical Center after a mountain bike accident. He received wonderful care while he was in the ER. When we arrived, after driving over an hour, Carol in admitting was very kind and helpful in getting us all the proper information and getting us in to see our son . The attending on staff, Josh, was very professional and thorough. He updated us on our son's condition and kept him comfortable until the Dr. was available to give us the results of his CT scan. Fortunately, his wounds were minor and although he suffered a concussion, there was no major damage to his brain. We were very satisfied with the care received and would highly recommend this health facility.

I was visiting the area for a family wedding when my young son woke up in the middle of the night with croup. We ended up in the ER at 2 am and had a phenomenal experience! The team was amazing... All starts across the board: From Carol, who greeted us and had us seeing a nurse before we could sit, to Dr Grant Christian, who treated my son, to the nurse who helped calm him and brought a stuffed animal. No one ever wants to go to the ER and this was as good as an experience as a parent could ever hope for. Thank you!

UPDATE: She has been diagnosed with Diverticulitis at Cooley 5 days after being discharged from Franklin and left to deal with all this alone at home.nSo my sister was recently hospitalized for a few days at this facility. They admitted her from the ER. With one diagnosis, after that each shift had a different doctor, different set of nurses and each shift would change the reason that she were there take back a diagnosis from a previous shift or add a new one for the next shift. Once they ruled out appendicitis, instead of looking for cause they discharged her in a matter of 10 minutes from seeing a dr for the 1st time, for 1st in three days. They did no further testing. They did no further Imaging they would not listen to her or explain to her why all they did was treat her pain and nausea and fill her full of laxatives over full of laxatives. And then once they knew that she would no longer. Possibly suffering from constipation they were no longer or no further willing to actually hold their end of the medical agreement with a continuity of care. They band dated her pain. And oftentimes made her wait. Far past the time of her next dose of Medicine Which resulted in her? Being left in a stagnant 10 out of 10 pain. The nurses did not help my sister Advocate to actually find the cause. Nor did the doctors. Feel it was their responsibility to do anything other than Medicaid her with narcotics full her full of laxatives and control her Nausea. You can't put a Band-Aid on a problem and then act like you cured cancer. When you realize the Band-Aid was just masking the problem not addressing it at all. They refuse to do any further Imaging. They refuse to do any further lab tests. They refused to consult with her other providers because she does have a very complex medical history. The doctor came in and told her there was not a surgical option with she was not wanting seeking or even considering. Without a clear and present Target. There's no way my sister would have let anybody touch her with a scalpel. She was admitted because the hospital felt she could not regulate her sickness and distress and needed to be under the care of constant medical staff. However when time proved they were wrong on their diagnosis. They did not have any interest or care concern. Or continuity to continue seeking or Consulting with any of her providers or any provider that could have potentially. Added insight to The amount of medical dysregulation she had imposed upon her and we're suffering from. It was absolutely heartbreaking to know that they just kicked her out in 10 minutes in the middle of the snow didn't ask if she had a ride or anything after they had tanked her up on pain medication and laxatives. I would never take my sister back to this hospital or any of my family members. There is a huge discrepancy between the reason that she was put in there and how okay they were with throwing her out on the street when it ended up not being. Just constipation. She was originally told she had infectious colitis and was put on antibiotics that weren't the right ones because of her allergies. She had to return the next day. And was admitted into the hospital because it had gotten so bad the second shift then said, oh we looked at the CAT scan and it's definitely not that the emergency room doctors had no idea what they were talking about and they shouldn't have told you that and you don't need to take the antibiotics. When she told me this I was very concerned. The next Doctor then said no you do you need to take the antibiotics. You do have infectious colitis from some food poisoning and that's why you're here and we need to flush your system out. That's why we're giving you the laxatives. And then the next day comes and the next just says no you're just here because you're constipated. So she was never able to get any answers question. She was never able to get a definitive reason what was happening to her body and why the pain wouldn't go away why the pain was where it was?

I’ve had the unfortunate experience of needing to use Franklin Medical Center on several occasions not only for myself, but for family members as well! The Nursing staff in ICU are top notch! Their amazing care and dedication to patients they care for are second to none! They all work together as a team and go above and beyond their job duties to make sure your emotional needs are not overlooked while your medical issues are being tended to! The Physical Therapy Dept are a great group of people also who make it their mission to see that you rehab so that you can return home stronger than when you left! Great sense of humor I might add which is a plus when they are working you beyond the outer limits of what you think is possible! I really could go on about all the disciplines at Franklin Medical because every department does an amazing job!
