This place exceeded my expectations and will be going back soon. From the fresh salad to the best alfredo I've ever had. Good job.
My wife and I would like to send out a very deserved thank you to Frank Prondecki and his family for the most hospitable time . Our stay with family afforded us the time to hang out and just be us . The roo.s are very clean , although not 2020 updated , but very nice . Beds are most comfortable . Quiet area . The restaurant has some of the best yankee cooking brought to us by none other than Frank's son Bryan . Way to go Bryan . Prime Rib was on spot . The bar is top shelf . Fireplace was going strong . Most fun I have had in New England in 40 years . Our deepest heartfelt thank you Frank . Well worth your wait . ( I've been passing this gem for near 60 years ) . Another birthday coming frank . Let's have a beer . Folks worth checking out .
I lived in Erving 28 years and never been in the restaurant and or the hotel now 28 years later I was missing a great meal and a pleasant stay at the hotel Thank you Frank I'll see you sometime next year.nThe Lyman's from the Carolinas
When we 1st arrived there was 4 other tables with guests. We were seated in the middle of them. It was okay however there could have been better placement.nOur server came over asked us for drink order but didn't tell us the specials. When she brought them back the sodas were watered down and coffee tasted burnt. (We had 7 family members) we didn't say anything, our mistake. When we ordered the server didnt tell us our options we ended up just ordering alot of the same meal.nThe food was ok but over priced for what it was. The server never did ask us for drink refills-not necessarily a bad thing since they were not good.nI have heard great things about this place and I was sadly disappointed. Maybe it was a fluke maybe it was covid.
