We got take-out last night with two friends. We ordered 3 different meals. It was absolutely delicious. After dinner as we sat and talked every few minutes someone would comment on how good the meals were. Bravo!

This is my first Google review I've ever written, I'm writing it b/c this restaurant is AMAZING! I have not been out very much since the pandemic and was a little worried about eating out, but all my concerns were put to rest as soon as we arrived at the Blue Rock, we chose to sit inside, all the tables were spaced appropriately and everyone working there was wearing a mask, it was impeccably clean, for that, I would like to thank the owners and staff!nnBlue Rock has a wonderful assortment of handcrafted cocktails (which also help make it easy to relax), such as the Ghostface Killah Margarita, Maple Bourbon Smash and Hucklberry Lemonade (I'm cheating by looking on their online menu). They also offer an extensive wine and beer menu.nnNow for the BEST part of Blue Rock, the food! For appetizer, I had the Vermont Burrata Mozzarella & Organic Heirloom Tomatoes, with balsamic syrup, olive oil and sea salt, served with a warm baguette for scooping up the creamy cheese and balsamic, so good I'm drooling thinking about it! For my entree I had the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna with ginger lime and soy glaze, seared on the outside and perfectly rare inside, I was going to eat half and take half home for my fiancé, but my 16 yo son ended up finishing it off for me. Seriously one of the best pieces of tuna I have ever had. My son ordered the cheddar burger that came with a pickle and hand cut steak fries, served with homemade ketchup. I don't eat beef but I am assuming it was good b/c he ate every bite! For dessert we shared the chocolate mouse with whipped cream, I am a bit of a chocolate mouse connoisseur, and this was one of the best!nnThe service was phenomenal, everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. Our server (Daniel) was very knowledgable of the menu and was able to make recommendations. When I eat out, service is very important to me, and they surpassed my expectations.nnThe setting could not be more quintessential New England, with porch seating over looking the Deerfield River and the charming town of Shelburne Falls. The inside is very cool, it looks to have been an old grain mill or something, gorgeous post and beam, beautiful blown glass light fixtures and fresh flowers in vases abound. I am a foodie, I've eaten all around the world and I would consider Blue Rock one of the BEST!!!nnp.s. I don't normally take pictures of food but this is one time I wish I had, the presentation is perfection.

I hour for our food and my wife and I had to listen to a pair of foul mouthed know it all's proving their ignorance the entire sorry time. food was average.nnto the owners credit they contacted me personally to discuss my concern which I appreciated greatly ( I always thought these reviews were dubious but they are not) suffice it to say that my review - my first ever in this forum- was not about food but was more about the handling or lack thereof of rude patrons. the owners cannot control this for the most part and they were appreciative of me bringing it to their attention. please continue to visit this restaurant, which I have been to many times before and always enjoyed but remember that others are there as well to enjoy good food, good times and the ones they love. respect them as you would like to be respected.

Fantastic cuisine with a menu updated daily with new special creations. Great local beer on tap, specialty cocktails, a full bar, and the best view in Shelburne Falls make this a must go-to-spot. All locals go here regularly, and if you are visiting you should too. Call to make a reservation on the weekend otherwise can often be a wait; but even then, the nice sofas in the lounge and porch with a drink make it a comfortable wait. Thanks Blue Rock!!
