This is a little, hidden place. Very charming. A very relaxed atmosphere. The owner is a lovely lady. She comes out and greets patrons sometimes. The food is typical Brit pub. I usually get their “Taste of the Midlands” pie. It comes pipping hot out of the oven. I’ve taken people from out of town there, and they have enjoyed the experience. The food isn’t upscale, but the place provides a unique experience—for sure. I always enjoy looking at the memorabilia. This is a great place for a first date, a quiet dinner with your significant other, or a place to meet with friends.

I can't comment on the authenticity of this place, since I've never been across the pond, but our experience here was excellent. I had the Lancashire Feast, which was a scrumptious beef and mushroom pie in a rich brown sauce covered with flaky puff pastry, and my wife had A Taste of the Midlands, which was a very tasty beef mince cottage pie. They had a good selection of single malts and mixed drinks, and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. A very cozy and intimate atmosphere, and it seemed like everyone in the place, patrons and staff alike, were old friends. Prices were very reasonable, at 12 bucks per entree. We'll for sure be back, as I saw other things on the menu I'm eager to try.

If I could give 6+ stars and break the star system I would.nnThey say English food is bland, and this is true to an extent, but their sauces make everything come alive. Add a touch of salt or pepper and it's amazing. Their beers are dark and tasty but easy on the belly.nnLastly, the owner / main waiter is hands down one of the most entertaining and graceful people ever. I've seen him roast people in good faith, show immense gratitude, and just find a way to relate to you and be a giving great host.nnI hope to be a patron here a long time.

You say British pub, and I say great Tulsa landmark. Order a brown bitter from Peter and start with a baked brie. Think about the excitement of a trip to the English country side and realize you are already there. On my top 10 hidden gems of Tulsa. Excellently friendly staff, comfort food, and all without the plane ticket.

Had our first visit this evening, and it was beyond fantastic! This is the most authentic British establishment I've ever been to in the U.S.nThe owners and staff are awesome, and very nice. Service was top notch!nThe food and beer was incredible.nWe got a nice tour, and were taught a bit of history, too. This is the only restaurant/pub I've ever been to that I was actually sad to leave, I wish I could've taken the place home with me.
