MMG Apache Family Medical Clinic (RHC)

Took my daughter in for a head and nose injury. They looked at and said “go get an X-ray” ok no problem BUT they never even asked about or checked if she had a concussion. Later that night she’s nauseous and eyes not dilating....so with head injuries this should be common practice and not taken lightlynThen the next day no one calls us to give us the X-ray results. I called later in the afternoon and they said yes her nose is broken and the doctor will call you. Nope....never called and if they did they didn’t leave a message. We miss the old Apache clinic with Helena and Sheryl ....they cared and took care of business!

My husband was having breathing issues and we went to walk in at 8:00am. We were told to sit down in the waiting room. 10 minutes later we were told to leave because they were not taking sick patients. They never even asked why we were there. I said that he needed to be seen. They said they were swamped with vaccine patients and we could try lawton. There was one person in the waiting room. We left and called Elgin Clinic. They immediately asked him to come there because they had asked him what was going on. They were completely swamped. They had like 15 people come and go as we waited for them to see him, but they got him in and treated him. We were told we could wait inside if we wanted and I was able to go in the room with him. We went back to Apache for a follow up appointment this week. Same rude treatment but he did get to see the doctor. I had to go outside. No one was there. I waited a little bit and went in to ask why if they are affiliated with CCMH. They said we were free to go somewhere else if we didn't like their rules. I said I wanted to talk to the doctor when she was done with my husband and they said I would have to call in and leave a message and they would email her and then she would call back if she wanted to. So I said you are going to keep me from talking to the doctor when no one else is even here. They said they were too busy for that. Lol. I am sure she would be interested in hearing how her staff treats people up front, but they won't let you talk to her, Ughhhh. Just a shout out to Elgin Clinic because they really care about people even when you are not one of their patients.

Dr. Sheryl Denton is very nice and her staff is amazingly caring.
