Friendly knowledgeable staff decent selection of boots. I’m a fan of the Red Wing brand and I was happy to spend my money with these guys.
I stopped in to inquire about a boot repair and was greeted by the most pleasant man. They had some really nice boots and he recommended for me to check out their women's collection online to find something similar to what I was wearing. I didn't purchase anything today but I'm pretty sure he'll be seeing me again in the near future.

The two “gentlemen” in the store were extremely rude and unhelpful. I would not bring additional business to this small hole-in-the-wall store with limited selection and an apparently lack of customer-service training nor need to actually make money. Very disappointed!
I honestly didn't know that anyone still provided a customer service experience like this anymore. The store manager was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about the Red Wing line of boots, inserts, and socks. He took the time to throughly explain which boot would be best for me in my line of work, and also custom fit them to my feet. After trying them on I left with my new Red Wing boots on my feet and can honestly say these are the best fitting boots I have ever owned. Not just that but you can tell they are a quality product that will last. You can feel the quality in the leather compared to many other boots I have owned and can see that they are made to last. While these boots may have been a little more expensive than what I normally would buy they are 100% worth it. I would rather pay a little more for something that will last rather than buy boots somewhere else for $150-$200, and have them fall apart within 5-6 months or less. I've rode past this Red Wing store in Winston Salem for years, but I'm glad I finally stopped in because I won't buy boots anywhere else.
