I love this store. They have a great selection of pet supplies and its not overpriced like you would think. Like Guinea pig food they have in dispensers you pour up (like nuts at a grocery store) and it save so much money. The staff is super friendly and really helpful as well as being very knowledgeable. Great stuff don't hesitate to shop here for pet needs.

I love this store - the employees are friendly and so helpful! The dog wash is affordable - providing towels, protective aprons, a variety of shampoos, dryers, and they clean up after you. There are groomers who will just trim nails or do the whole grooming. There is a variety of merchandise for any pet and a selection of small pets. But the employees are the best part!

Yesterday I went to Pet Supplies Plus for the first time to use the dog wash station. Megan was incredibly helpful with showing me how to use the equipment and general advice for taking care of my dog! She even put a cute little bow on my dog when we were done. So glad she was there and that we were able to meet her! We will definitely be returning for Megan's grooming services.

Made an appointment for grooming for two long haired dogs. I originally wanted a wash, brush, and nail trim. When we arrived, there was blood all over the grooming area and the floor/doors. We saw the dog that was bleeding at the front so I am assuming there was a mistake with his nail trim. Blood was everywhere. I decided to not do the nail trim for my dogs. However, no one cleaned up the blood, it was very unsettling. The “groomer” (they are not certified groomers and I knew this going into it but thought I would give it a try since we don’t get the dogs hair trimmed and just needed a wash/brush) was also covered in blood when she checked us in. I wasn’t happy with how she handled the dogs, they were super nervous and she pretty much just dragged them into the bath by their collars. We waited and checked on the dogs frequently because we were weary of how they were handled. Then she brought them out- one dog was dry and brushed and one was soaking wet. We had to take her back to dry to dry her off more before we left the store. My husband dried her in the self wash a bit but she was still soaked. Went to check out and she charged us for a “bath and brush” plus tried to add an extra charge for “ear cleaning”. She said that is how the owner told her to ring up brushing. I pointed out that the original charge shows bath and brush so why am I being charged twice? Anyway, she removed the charges but I had to spend the next few hours drying and brushing my dog that was unfinished. I tried the grooming experience but won’t be going back. My dog’s hair was tangled and matted because she wasn’t properly brushed after being washed. So I’m not sure why I spent money on this grooming when I ended up doing half of the work myself. I’m assuming this “groomer” may have been new but it was still a strange experience. This was our first time in the store and we will not be going back.

I started shopping for my dog supplies when this store opened over a year ago and was very pleased with the product selection and location. I immediately signed up for their loyalty program to take advantage of discounts and rewards. Some of their dog food has a reward of one free bag after a certain number of purchases. I thought this was a great perk. As I started getting close to the required number of bags I asked a store clerk when I would receive my reward and I was handed a card to sign-up for the loyalty program online, even though I already provided my info to the store over a year ago. It turns out you MUST sign-up online to receive the reward, and they do not keep track of it at the local store. I called the store and spoke to a clerk to express my concern. She talked to the Manager who relayed to me that the program was managed by corporate and they didn't have anything to do with it. I reached out to corporate, and they said they were sorry and offered a 10% coupon. There was no attempt to credit me for previously purchased dog food to eventually earn a free bag.nnNot one time when I was buying dog food or asking about the reward program was I told it was a REQUIREMENT to sign-up online to take advantage of the reward. All I knew was I signed up for the loyalty program the first time I shopped there.nnI understand things happen and I gave the store and corporate a chance to make it right, but they did not. The staff needs to be more thoroughly trained by management on how to educate customers on their loyalty program, and management needs to be responsive to loyal customers when they have a problem. After over a year of frequenting the store and spending over $1,000, I won't be back for these reasons. Petflow.com stocks all the items I purchase, without the hassle of dealing with untrained staff and indifferent management. I love to support local businesses but unfortunately this is what you get when you do that sometimes.
